About Us
Progressive Rural Active Youths Action for Society – popularly know PRAYAS, is a social development organization working in underdeveloped regions of West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand in India over 34 years to create positive and enduring change in lives of communities living in abject poverty and undue inequality.
What we do
Sponsor a child means to help him to become a dutiful man in all respect and building his career for future life. In this respect PRAYAS will take the responsibility in credible manner.
Education to All
PRAYAS of the best efforts is to bring back the drop outs and children of underprivileged community into main stream education.
Social Inclusion
In the social lives of the majority people in the society do not access to all facilities and discrimination still exists. Our effort is to eliminate these inequalities as much as possible within our capacity.
Livelihood
PRAYAS has always been given priority to agricultural productivity and developing the knowledge of the farmers.
Women Empowerment
Specific thematic interventions will not be successful unless they are grounded in the community.
